Will grew up in a house that was built in 1730 in the western suburbs of Philadelphia. He spent his early childhood watching while his historic home was modernized which helped him develop a love for historic architecture. He continued his education at the Rhode Island School of Design where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1971 and a Bachelor of Architecture in 1972. He worked for several prominent architectural firms in the Philadelphia area after graduation. He became a registered architect in Pennsylvania and in Texas. His architectural designs have appeared in many publications throughout the years.
- Carol Boerder-Snyder
Carol grew up in Dallas, Texas in a family where her father was an architect and her grandfather was a painter and designer. The tradition continued with Carol and her brother Larry becoming registered architects. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1974 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. While at university, Carol had diverse interests which included historic preservation, designing for human behavior, and urbaand environmental design. A summer spent working for the Historic American Building Survey in 1972 in upstate New York sparked an even greater interest in historic preservation and design.
